The second "Inherit & Friends" meeting with Prof. Razvan Caracas!

After the success of the inaugural Inherit & Friends meeting, the Department of Geosciences, (University of Padova) hosted the second workshop with Inherit members and collaborators, with prof. Razvan Caracas, as special guest!

Team Inherit members Martha Pamato, Mattia La Fortezza, Francesca Innocenzi and Maxwell Day, and Inherit friends Davie Novella and Razvan Caracas, discussed the latest results and news in their research and planned the future work. We focused on the theoretical calculations thanks to the invaluable support and knowledge of Inherit’s friend Razvan Caracas. The Inherit team is planning to perform ab initio molecular dynamics simulations, coupled with machine learning techniques, to understand H diffusion in diamond at mantle conditions.
